Burger King + TDS w/ Lewis Black & Josh Johnson

That’s Fire: A flame-grilled back-and-forth between comedy legend Lewis Black and rising star Josh Johnson, bridging generational perspectives with roast-level honesty and zero cringe. It’s not Boomer vs. Zoomer, it’s two takes on what’s “fire,” from taste to TikTok.

project overview

The Spark
“Fire” isn’t just a cooking method, it’s a cultural shorthand for anything bold, honest, and or iconic. So, we turned that double meaning into the heart of the idea, and let comedy do what it does best: tell the truth without preaching.

My Role
From shaping the tone to working hands-on with talent. The goal was to make both voices feel authentic, distinct, and relatable. I pulled performance, kept the camera moving, and made sure the fire never felt forced.
